Hello, i'm going to write about my favorit artist named Maya Kulenovic (1975) . She is a Canadian contemporary artist (she's painter) and she is currently working in Toronto, also she started to create her art at the University of the Arts London and her first paintings were published in a book made by Edward Lucie Smith (2008). His art is based mainly on portraits of people and architecture, these wrapped in an atmosphere of tension and mistery with a dark and nostalgic persperctive. Her artistic influences are mostly Eugène Atget, Margaret Bourke-White, Rembrandt, Turner and Francis Bacon. Also her art is inscribed in realism and one of his recurring topics are still life and the presentation of a psychological state of things.
